I am a big believer that positive thinking can truly change what happens to you and how you perceive it. Adopting this belief has changed my life. So, for my own enjoyment, and to help anyone else in need of a little boost, I compiled a list of my all-time favorite affirmations. I repeat these to myself in the morning, write them on sticky notes, and meditate with them. Repetition of these positive and empowering phrases will manifest beautiful change in your life!
I wrote this poem when I was in the midst of a really bad bout of anxiety. It is about my personal experience with mental health issues and the shame I used to feel about them. My perception of myself was so skewed and I felt very unloved at the time, but I am recovered now and just hope to help anyone who is feeling this! If you fight for the Good, it will always win more than the Bad ever will!
Last weekend I had an amazing, healing conversation with someone who I’d of never guessed I could have the conversation with. An ex. Not just any ex, though. An ex that I was out of my mind crazy in love with. An ex that I had a very confusing hard breakup with. One of those breakups where you sit in bed and eat nothing but ramen noodles and watch Netflix and cry for 30 days straight. It was ROUGH.
